Finally!!

I am a newbie and after much worry, fretting, sleepless nights, watching and waiting my Serendipity finally bloomed!! The smell is heavenly!! I am so excited and all I can say was it was definetly worth the wait! There are 4 other blooms waiting to open. I don't know if I will see anymore this season because of the broadmite damage. The new leaves that are growing still look twisted. I put this one and another one in the ground after my brug buddy Dana suggested it. The others that are in containers have small buds forming and I don't think I will see them big enough to open for another couple of months if they make it. Pics were taken before it fully opened which it has now. So, all you newbies, hang in there and you too will be rewarded!! Ellen

Yay, Emily!
You will love Serendipity more and more, too, as she grows for you. She is a fabulous bloomer w/nice big perfect pink blossoms!
And if you have buds on your other plants, it should only take a few weeks for them to mature to blossoms.

Oh hey, that's really pretty! Did it darken as it aged? Personally I love the green/pink thing going on. As with Karyn (I think it's Karyn) I've only had pinks bloom this year and I'm itching for another color to bloom!

tommysmommy, yes, it got a couple of shades darker, looks like a pale peach to me. BTW, the other four blooms are opening and will be just as big, yeah!!!!!!! Ellen
