Beautiful Karyn! That red passie really stands out. There used to be a banana plantation at the beach where they had a beautiful red passiflora that would climb all over the stores roof. Was a a beauty, but they closed down the store because of landslides. I am sure they just bulldozed lots of their plants down. Even now, if I am ever that way, I can see lots of the neighbors there growing bananas.

Karyn they are all beautiful but the red and the alba I think are my favorites of the ones you posted. :) Not sure I'd want a stinker either. Haha!

How long do those passifloras bloom?

These are all summer bloomers but many of the decalobas start in the late spring here. I have several that will start flowering in late summer or fall but try and stay away from the late season varieties because I have to cut them back to get them in the greenhouse for winter protection.

The Stapelia gigantea is wonderful !

I really like the passies and just picked up 5 new varieties. I probably have 25-30 varietities now. I'm also growing some crosses from this season. Hope to get blooms next summer. I love the way S. gigantea looks but the smell is sooooo BAD!!!! I've been collecting stapelias, huernias, orbeas and other succulents over the past couple years. They are just so weird. I have some whose blooms are so cool but so small they are easily missed. I'd love to see pics of some of your new brugs Edna.
