What is blooming now...

Few brugs which are blooming now.

...and a volunteer datura who sprouted in a pot. Probably I reused the soil in which I had some datura seeds and I got tired of waiting for them to sprout. It is white with a hint of purple on the back. {{gwi:538005}} {{gwi:538008}} {{gwi:538010}}

Really, really nice. Do Brugs blossom year around in California? Is the first picture Daydreams? I am really partial to the double blossoms. I am anxiously waiting for mine to flush. I have had a few blossoms for the last month or so but nothing special. They are on the verge of something special now. I have a few with 50 plus buds. We have long waits for a short season here in Michigan.

Wonderful blooms. Those double pinks are so pink, absolutely gorgeous. Are the datura fragrant as well?

Bill, where I live the blooming season is around 8 month I would say. The first picture is Salmon Perfektion. I had a Daydream cutting but died with a few other when I was gone for a month in June :-).
Looking forward to see yours.

Mnwsgal,yes datura smells very nice . It has a sweet smell, like a candy. I wanted to keep my nose in it.

Holy cow, you've got alot going on! I'm still waiting for the big one, which will probably be late September when I'm holding my breath on when the first frost will be!

Bob, I live in Taylor (near Detroit Metropolitan Airport). It is about 20 miles southwest of Detroit.
