After a long absence from the brug scene I am finally back and introducing a brug that was grown somewhere back around 2010.
She survived my years of ignoring my brugs....when i started fertilizing again she came back with a bang. I am finally registering her with the name Phoenix Rising because she rose from the ashes of my garden which was once so beautiful and well kept....well I'm back and so is she...this is Phoenix Rising...a Painted Lady x Sam cross
Phoenix Rising is blooming again and finally I am able to recover anthers that have some pollen on them. I will try to pollinate the flowers but this time of year the temps still not low enough to where my brugs will willingly set pods...but it cant hurt to try. At least i can dry out some pollen for later in the year. I dry my pollen anthers in a tubes in a basin with silica gel sand..She still has lots of buds on her..No cuttings on this girl, she needs to grow
