This is a bit OT but it is about brugs. We are in the process of having our roof replaced. Yippy, it finally stopped raining!!!!! There's 8 Spanish speaking gentleman doing the work and only one speaks English. They'll be tossing the debris off the roof so I took them around back and showed them areas to avoid. I don't want them squashing my plants. When they got out back a few of them started pointing and chatting excitedly so I asked what they saying. The English speaking man said they saw the brugs, papayas and other tropicals and it made them feel like they were home. It really seemed to make them happy. I have no idea where they are from, probably Central America. I have a friend who's originally from Antigua and she also tells me that my backyard reminds her of home. I'll take that as a compliment.
