Fantastic! I haven't planted dats yet, but maybe next year.

I have several metels and couldn't detect a scent from any of them this year. Last year they had fragrance. I thought that maybe it was me so I had the kids see if they could smell anything and they couldn't either, night or day. Weird.

Pat- I really don't know- this was my first year with them.

Kasha,
I had three Dats this year, and they produce quite a few seeds. Did you start yours early or just plant in the ground?
I planted a few seeds to see if they would come up. I have four new ones just peeking out of the dirt inside.

Hi Patsey-
Where do you live that you can start them now?! I started mine in pots, but I think they'd be easier inground like my white Dats. They just reseed everywhere, & I just move them where I want them. They have a long tap root and dislike transplanting, but I do it anyway!
I had triple yellow dats too, but these Metel Triple Purples are my favorites!
