Mixing Brugs

My question is I always see brugs planted apart or a single plant per pot. I understand the root mass would be entangled as one and large but does anyone see a problem with planting two or three brugs as one (together)? I would enjoy seeing the mixture of blooms from each mixing together.

joellege21 I think it is not just the roots that will complain...especially in a pot. But I planted brugs to close in a flowerbed and they just did not have the room to grow as big and beautiful as they could have. Then I did see pictures of HEDGES with brugs....I think it would also have to depend on the zone too? You can always try. What do you got to loose but the brugs right? Lucy

Thanks Lucy for your reply. I don't want to loose my brugs so I will go ahead and plant them apart. Guess I was thinking since their root ball and trunk base get so big and multiple trunks that it might not matter. Again though I don't wish to loose them. Thanks for the advice.
