Doubles not happy...

Is this normal for my Candida double white? I watch and wait only to be disappointed each time. This week the skirts dropped and I could see the doubles in there, then they turned brown and fell off without opening. This one seems to be much more sensitive than my singles which bloomed great this fall. Too hot, too cool, too wet, too dry...what? We had high winds on Wednesday, but the blooms were already brown anyway.

Thanks for listening. Oh, and any advice will be appreciated.

Shirley sometimes those Dbl.s can be Brats.. It is probably just the time of yr and the large fluctuation in the temps.. The whites don't hold their color and seem to fade faster than the other colors do..

Shirley,
Mine are doing the same thing. I might as well have only singles. At least there is one more flush coming on both of them. We'll see what happens.

Thanks y'all. I'm glad to know it's just the nature of the doubles. Might get another set of blooms after this weeks cold spell.
