Already time for a wishlist? Earth Angel is always on my wish list, also Fleming Island Rachel, any cold group brugs. Other than that..I am not obsessively looking for anything, I already have too many. I am starting to like the ones with outward facing flowers. I am also going to try to stop getting so many pinks and try to get more yellows and oranges, maybe even some nice whites. What about you? |

| A orange double. I have to do some research and find a name of a good orange double. |

| These are the brugs that I am wishing for. 1- Rothkirch 2- Culbera 3- Arborea 4- Grand Marnier 5- Mango Crush 6- Bebe This will be a hard one to find. It is a brug that I received from Vicki Harding many years ago. There MIGHT be one person that may still have it from were I shared it with them several years ago. They have already shared back with me twice since I shared with them, so I hate to ask them again, but I may just have to swallow my pride and ask again. Hopefully they still have it in their collection. It not a special brug, but I know of no other brug that has this characteristic. It has short, curly-q, pig tail tendrils. It is a trait that I want to try to breed into a brug that will have longer tendrils, but still have the curly-q's. Also, it has distinct corolla notches like Arborea has in its blooms. Here's a few of pics of it. Wish me luck. David

I have not been growing brugs very long, and have not aquired a 'taste' for the very exotic or the very specific yet so my list is a little vague (much like me in my old age! lol) I wish for a white very fragrant a double of any colour :) Have a wonderful day everyone! Frances |

OK Amelia, all bets are off! I'm calling in any trading IOUs and shamelessly banking on our shared last names (who knows maybe somewhere way back along the genetic tree we really are related). If you ever do get MM I just plain want it after seeing it in your link....grin. I'll be rooting for you to find one thenwatching for you to get it up to blooming size and post a pic. Will |
RE: What Brugs are on your Wish List this yr???

| Will, if I ever get one, you will get the first cuttings. BTW, I read something you wrote about composting. Before you compost, get in touch with me. I might be able to find a home or 2. :) |

| Hi Kylie, and thanks for the welcome. I was passing off some plumeria cuttings to a neighbor and she had the beautiful plants in her backyard and I fell in love instantly. I had seen them around before, but never knew what they were or how easily (according to her) they were to propagate. She gave me two cuttings that I thought were doomed (wilted leaves, etc) but I've now read so much on this wonderful forum that I know that's normal. The cuttings were also very tall so I've cut them down in size and put these new cuttings into water so I can watch their progress. I'm in Houston, Texas, and I'm hoping my thumb will stay a shade of green to manage to grow these for around our pool. What a lovely tropical backdrop these would be! Again, thanks for the warm welcome! Cynthia |
