OT: POTD: Sometimes we don't get what we want

A wonderful winter weather advisory morning.

Sounds like a day DH will come home and surprise me in front of the computer lol

Winter got us in his hands. I AM STAYING IN. SO lucky, I do not have to go out.

Kylie now make sure you stay safe and we would not mind just SEEING your weather in pictures!!

This one little Zinnia plant was so pretty. Just in to much shade and overtaken by this potato vine.

Did not find any seeds I could have used :-(

Man this would be perfect weather for winter sowing. Last year when I did it and put it out, it was so warm at times, that I said...WINTER SOWING????NOT lol

Have a good but safe day!

Miss a lot of you daily. But I know this is the quiet time

That's a pretty zinnia, Lucy. It is a quiet time with so many traveling for the holidays.

I am not looking forward to another snow right now.

Oh NO Karyn.The only thing I can see when I look out the window that is blooming...is a yellow mums.

I have to resort to OLD pictures for the POThmmmmmmmmmmDAY? oh well. lol

There is only one brug blooming right now and the 3 blooms on it are kind of beat up from the wind. So instead here is a bloom off the chalice vine, it is covered with buds and blooms right now.

But I DO LOVE THAT BLOOM!!!! It does pay to live in a warmer zone then mine. BUT....done moving lol

Tally IS my name, it's my real name, not short for anything, not a nickname. I sign Tally HO! cause it's easy to remember.

I do love this plant. It blooms twice a year for us. And it smells great. Planted one in my moms yard also. We're about 10-15 degrees colder than usual this year. There has been ICE in the dog bowl on the back deck TWICE this year! HORRORS! We call each other if we have ice it's such a rare event. And twice in one year!! Ick! I'm a big weenie when it comes to temps, I'll take 100 hot and humid anyday over cold.

Well Tally...that should do it for me. Easy *bridge* to remember your name now lol Never heard it before though.

Well unless you guys talk less then twice a year...then the ice weather...was a TREAT for calling lol

But seriously now...if one is not used to weather like that...it IS HORROR.

Hope it will get better for you...and most ALL OF US!!
