Why don't you sink the pots into the yard next season. They require very little care inground. I rarely watered my inground brugs last summer while I was watering my container plants sometimes twice a day. I'm also in MD (Mont Co) so our weather is pretty much the same.

Thanks Karyn, Yes I have buried the pots in the ground before. If I mulched quite heavily and my son gave them a good soaking once a week you think they would survive? Steve.

If they get watered very well once a week and mulched I think they would be fine.. Nice to see BTW Steve!!!

Steve I think they'd do great inground with a weekly watering. You recall how hot and dry it was here over the summer and I was lucky if my inground brugs got water every two weeks, if that, and they were fine.
