So it's winter (okay not till the 22nd, but it FEELS like winter) and the usual suspects are gracing my home with flowers. The flowering maple is covered in deep red blooms - this tree makes me happy all winter long. The lemon tree is blooming and setting fruit, and last year's fruit has just turned yellow. Would you believe the potted passionflower vines are budding like crazy, and I've got the amaryllis bulbs poking up buds. My deep rosered Christmas Cactus is filled with buds, the African Violets haven't quit for a moment, and I have ONE spectacular Santa Rosa bloom. That tree is such a keeper!! I guess you could say I'm happy with my plants right now.

BTW, I haven't been here alot lately as I've discovered Facebook, plus I've gotten a part-time job for the holidays at Sur La Table. My kitchen will be oveflowing with goodies by the time I finish using my employee discount!
