Anne, I only prune if I want to cut down the size of the brug, which can become a tree quickly. Right now, a couple of my brugs have some cold damage. I won't cut those branches off, but just clean off the damaged leaves.

All you Southerners make me sick. Actually I'm just jealous. lol You only have to worry about some damaged foliage and maybe some tips. Anything that was above ground on mine now looks like greenish slime.

Eloise, I am in inland South Orange County. We are in the canyon butted up to Cleveland National Forest. Beautiful this morning....no wind...a crispy, nippy, coolness in the air!! I am comfortable in my sweats and UGGS...listening to Christmas music and cooking! No forecast of snow...LOL! We are fortunate!!
