What a gorgeous tiger swallowtail!

I had scads of tiger swallowtails, and black swallowtails as well, not to mention all the other species. I couldn't get a good picture of the black swallowtails because they constantly flutter their wings and flit from one flower to another. I figured out how to shoot in "continuous mode" on the digital camera this month, so I hope to catch one this summer!

Hey there,
you have to be very patient, lol...
Try to take shot of lil Hairstreaks or lil Blue's down here in Florida, that is even more of a challenge..

Beautiful pictures everyone!. The only way I can get decent pictures of BST is when I am releasing them. They will sit for a long time drying their wings..makes for a perfect photo op.
