Another Pipevine Swallowtail - This One Attracted a Friend!

This morning I found another newly emerged PVS with an empty, red liquid filled chrysalid nearby - this one was hanging out in my rue. When I came back about an hour or so later, she had attracted a friend already!

The newly emerged PVS is the one on the bottom - her friend hung from a branch just above her - they're doing just what you think they're doing!
