| OK, and I was feeling so good, released over 150 Monarchs this year and none of the dreaded problems that I hear about others having, then....disaster seems to have struck. At least 30 of the remaining 40 chrysalids have turned their nice color and then not eclosed. Some have begun to split open, but do not emerge. Some do emerge, but seem unable to even hold on to the stick, much less fill out their wings. These were mostly raised from the egg stage. OE?
On the bright side, the Goatweeds are doing great as are the BS. |
