Can I trade someone for hardy pipevine??

Looking for hardy pipevine to feed the caterpillars and other host plants for butterflies. We recently lost a tree from storm damage so there is an opening in our yard. I don't have a lot of butterfly plants right now but I have TONS of ajuga 'black scallop' to trade if you're interested. Let me know if you can help.

I have some aristolochia fimbriata (pipevine) seeds maturing on the vine, so I will have some of these seeds to share soon, also looks like I will have some aristolochia elegans soon as well. If you would like some seeds, all I ask for is an SASE, send me an email and I will give you the info needed.

The fimbriata can be used by the pipevine swallowtail and the gold rim swallowtail (polydamas). The elegans is too toxic for the pvs, but is fine for the gold rim. Let me know,

It's very hard to transplant the PV vines. Better to get one grown in a pot. I suggest Mail Order Natives. Nice large PV plants grown from seed, and reasonably price.
