Congrats! I've been looking for eggs and have'nt seen any yet. My Fennel was starting to block out my bell pepper plants so i decided to cut them back and found two BST cats amongst the clippings. I hope i didn't destroy any by mistake.

I just planted 9 Fennel plants at my job site. Hoping to see them grow in before I see BST ELF.

Hey, Sandy...what a fun road trip that would be, huh? I really want to see your beautiful new place, too. I just need a Winnebago so Sandy and I could travel coast to coast looking at butterfly habitats!

I've always wanted to go out on the road and take butterfly pictures. There's a couple that did that, Kim and Mike.

The new place is looking pretty ragged right now. I never got to plant--weather has not cooperated. However, a Giant Swallowtail found the potted prickly Ash tree and adorned it with eggs. Got to go out and mow today. There today, and here tomorrow. Still not seeing much in town. The Monarch cats that I found have not been doing so well. Two died during transistion. Two chrysalides look a little cloudy. Two more in js today. I'm hoping the larvae from the 4 eggs I found do better. I wonder if it was the temps they were exposed to, as I found them the week after our roller coaster ride, temp wise. Hoping that next week a mama finds the buffet I planted for her younguns.
