I'd go ahead and clip the leaf off that they're on, cut it down to just around the egg cluster and lay the cluster on the A. fimbriata, assuming there's no problem keeping it in place. If you know when the eggs were laid, you could add five days, and it's unlikely they'll hatch before that time, so they'd be safe and wouldn't have to stay on the clipped leaf so long. I think once they hatch they'll migrate to the good fimbriata and leave the elegans alone.
