That's great, Laura! I have lots of VFs, too. It's a great year for them. This is the 1st year I've ever had them, but I finally planted a P. incarnata. I had P. 'Lavender Lady' and I have grown P. caerulea, too, but they were never chosen for a host.

Thanks Sandy! I know where there is some... but it may not be enough. My sister just moved back to Jenks from Ft Worth and I found some in a field near her new house and also growing along side the road... though I'm not sure exactly what variety it is. I'm thinking maybe green? The flowers were very greenish with the slightest hint of pink. But again, that may not be enough, so I'll definitely take you up on that knowledge when the time comes!

congrats on all the eggs! I have found quite a few too, just yesterday I found 35 more monarch eggs, 9 of which where on one leaf, plus I have about 30 one instar catepillars. I have been scouring around and I think I will be ok, feeding them as they hatch.
