Found Caterpillars

Yesterday I was at DDs house with the GDs and we found several larvae and eggs on Chenopodium album. I am ID'ing them as Common Sootywings. Typically Skipper, they make a nest by folding over the leaves. It's so funny how the 1st instar cats fold over the tiniest piece of leaf to make their nests. The eggs, in color, remind me of GST eggs. Of course they're much smaller, and they could look entirely different under a microscope.

I've never found these little skipper cats before. I have C. album in my yard, too, but never found them on mine.

I'll try to get my camera over there and get pics soon.
