Full StoryWhew, been very busy with Monarchs hatching lately, have not had much time to check in here! I am up to 122 Monarchs eclosed with 16 more today, tons more in the next few days! I am down to only about 35 catepillars now though, have not been finding very many eggs or catepillars lately but usually July is a banner month for that, which is just around the corner!
Yesterday when I was releasing some of my Monarchs, I noticed a very agressive male Monarch mating with probably one of my newest releases. I have never witnessed that before. I took photos and video of it, he seemed so aggressive, when I first saw, I thought they were fighting but.... LOL!
After I had released my final male Monarch for the day, I saw, I am sure it was the same aggressive Male, take off after my male Monarch, I managed to chase him away!
When I get some free time, which is hard these days, so super busy, I will share some photos.
