fern leaf dill v regular dill and Butterflys

Are butterflies attracted to fern leaf dill the same as regular dill. My caterpillars seem not to eat the fern leaf.

I use fennel. I have not had luck with dill holding up when I cut and place it in water.

But, I am tempted to add fern leafed dill since many of you have talked about its attractiveness to BSTs.

I use Florence Fennel. It holds up in water and gets huge in the garden. It provides the most bang for my buck.
