Oh my, what a beauty!! Is he about a 5th instar now?

Thanks Leafhead! Since this is my first time raising them, I am learning about them as I go. I loved this shot, and in it, you can see that the lower half of the body is already changing color. Yes, this guys was getting very close to attachment time. Soooooo cool, aren't they? :o)

I used to raise Giant Swallowtails, BSTs and Polydamas, but nothing to compare to those beauties. Way to go!!

Thanks guys! It has been so much fun. I so hope to find more of these beauties on my Spicebush plants as the season progresses. My biggest butterfly months here are August-November.
