I agree--so many wonderful plants that would like a wet area--look up rain gardens and then find natives that work in your area.

White Turtlehead (Chelone glabra) for Baltimores and Buttonbush for nectar. Swamp Milkweed is another terrific suggestion for both the Monarch and for nectar.

Cecropia use button bush. Spicebush will take a wet area in the spring.
