I just bought at Milk weed plant at least that what they said at the nursery . I think it is butterfly weed. Anyway I love the orange color but not sure how to plant it? Dig a hole the same size as it is in the pot or a little bigger? Any special fertilizer for it? thanks.

RE: planting milk weed?

I had the Tropical Milkweed (orange and yellow blooms) and kept it in large pots so I could move it when needed. All I used was potting soil and manure it did just fine....until the Monarchs stripped them to the ground...silly Monarchs.
