After only 7 days in chrysalis ( a record as far as I can remember ), I was surprised this morning to find my 2 beautiful Monarchs ( 2 females ). Here in South Carolina, I usually get Monarchs in early April and lots of them in late September early October so these little girls were a special treats ! Still not much activity despite large amounts of flowers and milkweed ( thanks to the amazing quantity of rain we have had ). Summer is still young so we'll keep our fingers crossed !
