Great Spangled Frits don't get enough credit. They're beautiful! I've seen a couple in my yard this spring that seem bigger than most that I've seen, bigger than a Monarch I think. I have a few violets in my yard that are multiplying. Hope it's the kind they like.

no I don't have violets, I have looked for violets to buy at our local greenhouses but they did not have any.

I don't even know how my violets got started or what kind they are, perhaps they came from a neighbor's yard. They reseed and will grow in your lawn whether you want them to or not. I think they would be very easy to get in trade or for postage but you might want to be careful what kind you get. I suspect I don't have the kind you want. There may be some more well-behaved. I'd rather just have them in my flower beds where I can let them grow and watch for cats instead of in my lawn where I have to mow them. : (
