Poor yellow one was very tattered, but seemed to be flying just fine. The two I didnt get a pic of were bright and in-tact. Figures I didn't have my camera!

That's so weird...last year was really an abundant year here in North Texas for Tigers but haven't seen a one here this year!
I think they use our native Mexican Plums for their host plant & I have them all over the back of our property.

You are so fortunate...they are one of my most favorites!!!

I am seeing an abundance of Tigers in our area this year. I went down to a nearby lake, and the tigers were all over the just starting-to-bloom buttonbush. I'm also seeing more of the yellow females than usual, which means I'm actually seeing yellow females! Guess this is our year, Laura! It's been at least a dozen years since I've seen this many around.
