Is this Sphinx ligustri?

Hi!
I first posted this on the insect forum, but was told that this belongs more in the butterflies forum:
Two days ago I found two very big moths:
{{gwi:498153}}
{{gwi:498154}}
(Reference: the pole is 11cm / 4.33inches wide)
They have been sitting there all day. I presume they were sleeping under the roof tiles of our shed and fell out when I passed by (hence the first picture where they're lying on the ground).
I think they're Sphinx ligustri. Am I correct about this?
