Butterfly Garden

New arriving Monarchs.

Madison, WI is finally seeing butterflies, though late in the season. I've been visited by my 4th and 5th Monarch ELFs, as well as some American Ladies, Black Swallowtails and Fritillaries.
I'm currently raising 6 Monarch cats and 21 Black Swallowtail cats, c 5 eggs due to hatch tomorrow.
Going out to collect Monarch eggs when she's done. She's really busy out there...

Wonderful news John! Congrats to you. I was just outside watching the Cloudless Sulphur and Sleepy Orange Mamas laying eggs on my Senna. :o)

Awesome, I miss those butterflies from South Florida. I haven't seen any Sulfurs here at all...Just Cabbage Whites.
I have Partridge Pea, Cassia hebecarpa and Milkvetch in case any stop by this Summer.+ lots of Clover.
