On Saturday, I found either a SBST or Palamedes egg on this red bay with black streaks in it already. On Sunday, I found a second on the same plant that also had black streaks in it.

It's already Tuesday and nothing yet. I would have thought the darkening would indicate they were well on their way. The second doesn't seem to reflect or glisten in light at all. Not sure if that means anything.

This is my first time trying to raise these, so I'm not sure how long incubation time is typically. Can the vets chime in?
