I had never seen this plant before. Some of the articles call it an invasive. It does look like the butterflies enjoy it, however.

LOL Tom...........we call our property "invasive acres". We've got tons of invasives. But the butterflies and birds seem to like them all!

What an interesting looking plant! I've never seen it before, but it's pretty, and the butterflies like it, that's what matters!

It is very invasive here but the butterflies do love it! I am kind of glad in a way that they use it. Since so many of the other plants they need are gone.
