my garden finally looks like a garden

I planted this garden when I was 10 back in 2002. But I abused it and let the crab grass choke out many of my plants. I finally decided that my garden deserves better, so now every few weeks ( besides when I am at school) I remove crabgrass and till the soil.

Wow! You've even got a butterfly enjoying the butterfly weed. I love your plant selections. Do you go to school near by? How often do you get a chance to spend time in your garden? I assume you have other adults who can help out in a pinch? I just love to know there are young people learning the benefits of gardening. Thanks for sharing your pictures.

Hey Martha, I go to school at the University of North Carolina at Asheville. Its about 4hrs from my house. I spend every day or every other day in the garden because I unfortunately do not have a job. In terms of parents helping, I wish, lol! My parents, unlike me, are at work all day and on the weekends they are relaxing.But I have always enjoyed gardening and raising leps for the longest time.
