How cool is that!

So a few weeks ago the monarch eggs I ordered came in the mail. Of the twenty that I had ordered only eight hatched(thinking they were eaten by mistake? I didn't count them when they came in) two died when they were itty bitty, and I have one chrysalis and two "Js".
Now here's the cool part-after work today I decided to go on a walkabout, there are lots of milkweed at my work, lots of land and a park-like setting. I found SIX out there and two more on the way home(had to stop and check more milkweed, I was so excited!) so now I have an excuse to keep the 55 gal fish tank DH has been after me to toss!
Things that I noticed:
-the little ones were mostly on the flower buds
-they seemed to like the plants that had earwigs in them(why?)
-they were only on one side of the road
and
-were mostly on a narrower leafed one that hadn't opened it's blooms yet

I'm happy!!
-B
