Interesting Parasite: Conura amoena

I have to confess that I'm not usually too thrilled about parasites eating my caterpillars. These were kind of fun, though. Two emerged from what I believe were Gray Hairstreak (Strymon melinus) chrysalises, and they looked like a good match for Conura amoena. Look at those hind legs! They were about 5/16" long.

Interesting as they were, I still didn't like them eating my pets. Thus, as poetic justice, I fed them to my other pets. Ant colonies are fun. ;)
