Butterfly Garden

I hate this part!

The last of my butterfly pupae are beginning to emerge before I head back to college :(. Don't get me wrong, I love releasing them. But I hate when I raise butterflies and I get down to the last chrysalis. It's so hard to say goodbye lol. Excuse the bad pic.

On the contrary, great pic of a good variety of chrysalids :) The American Lady is gorgeous!

This is my first time raising them and I think it will be so bittersweet to let them go. Congrats on all of your beautiful butterflies. Can I ask what type of keeper they are in? Looks interesting.

I know what you mean. I released a BST a few weeks ago, which was thrilling, but after a while I really started missing her! I'm sure the same will be true whenever my other chrysalis ecloses (hopefully!). I'd do it again though!
