Found cat in garage

Found this cat crawling in the garage last night. Never seen this type in my garden before. Pretty sure it's looking for a place to bury itself. Anyone know what it might be? Still searching the web for results - I'm thinking it's a type of Sphinx moth? No spike at the tail, just a small black numb.
