When I came home he was on the bottom of the enclosure. Unfortunately the wings will not straighten out. My other two guys have been like this for a week. :(

There is a protozoan parasite, Ophryocysistis elektorscirrha, aka OE, that infects monarch caterpillars, and monarch adults. It can cause the crumpled wings that you are seeing when the butterfly emerges from its chrysalis. Sometimes you might notice dark patches on the green chrysalid, that don't look like they belong there. That would be another sign of OE infection. For this reason, when hand-rearing monarch caterpillars, I always keep one caterpillar per glass jar. Also, there is a lot of hand-washing and cleaning involved.

Thanks. I dont think its OE. They are healthy throughout the whole process. It looks like these guys just lost their footing and fell. I could be wrong about the OE but I have not seen any patches.
