3 wonderful butterfly days

While cleaning around my gourd vine and pipevine I found a total of 11 pvs cats - all at various stages of growth. I have moved them to individual condos where they are doing well. I never thought to check the vines near the ground but they were down there. I was at the wedding of the parents but I never saw egg laying.

Then last night I was thrilled to have a Monarch Mommy visiting my milkweed. She would lay afew eggs than take a rest so it must be hard work. This morning I collected afew eggs, most of which were on narrowleaf milkweed rather than speciosa. They too are in their own condo on the table!!

Butterfly dreams at last!!!!!

Ha! I really like the way you said that. You were 'at the wedding of the parents'!

Good luck with all of your new children.

Betty
