By now, we are all aware of the record-low number of monarchs this season.

I am trying to help give the monarch population a boost by offering tips for raising migration butterflies.

I am going to start raising my Minneapolis monarchs between August 17-24 and those across Canada and the US can start raising when it makes sense to raise. (there is info on the link that will help you decide the best time to raise migration monarchs in your region)

I know many of you already raise monarchs, but perhaps we could learn from each other.

I have raised monarchs for over 30 years and my survival rate is almost 100%. I have lost two this season, by accidentally inviting a stinkbug into their cage...DOH!! I have raised around 60 healthy adults.
