Now I have a question, what else eats Pipevine?

Congrats, congrats!! I've only seen two pipevine swallowtails this year, and they were both males.

There are numerous generalist moths that will lay eggs on pipevines - I've found a variety of cats on it, including saltmarsh moth cats. Yours might be some type of army worm - even if it isn't, it's some type moth.

Congrats, again! Send that Mama pipevine swallowtail to my place, please!

It's been a good day, Gulf Fritillaries were visiting the Passion Vines, a couple of Tigers were nectaring on the flowers, and I even had a black phase Tiger nectaring on the Passion Vines. Finding the Pipevine cats was a big surprise, got to protect these babies.
