I have two chrysalides that were damaged when they fell immediately after they formed. Although I could see a crack, it didn't appear it was deep and they didn't leak so I placed them on a paper towel and kept a watch on them. This morning I noticed they were dark and I could see the wings inside.
I'm hoping they are able to elcose safely. My question concerns the position of the chrysalides. I placed them in a big pot of creeping Jenny out on the deck. I took a couple of photos so you can see their position on the plant. Do you think they will be able to climb out and dry their wings from this position? I've never been in this position so unsure about what to do. ... ~Mary
