| Oh my word. I think that I should buy a lottery ticket today. It has been a most excellent butterfly day for me; maybe the most excellent ever. First, I find that I have Spicebush SWT cats for the first time. Then, as I was sitting in a chair on my front porch about to add some water to a small container of Passionvine cuttings for the Gulf Frit cats, a Gulf Fritillary flew up to me, began flitting all around the Passionvine cuttings in my hand, and then landed and plopped an egg onto the top of one leaf! Can you imagine? Gosh, I needed someone with a video camera about then! What a cool experience! To add to the day, I finally had a taker on my fruit plate. A really nice Hackberry Emperor landed and partook!!!! Wow! Think I am good for the season now! :o) |
