Dainties Oh My!

It is crazy this year. In the past, Dainty Sulphurs (Nathalis ione) have been really rare in Ohio. The last "outbreak" was in 1999 in six (?) counties, with only 11 individuals recorded before that. This year, I think they must be in every county. They have reported 175 plus in one survey. In one week I found them in three different locations. At one park, kids were chasing them like cabbage whites (a very common butterfly here). Today there was one in my back yard. It just feels wrong!
