| I spotted this butterfly clinging to the side of a cabinet in my laundry room a couple weeks ago after the weather had started cooling off. Its wings were closed and I didn't recognize what it was at first. |

| I thought it was something unusual so I went running for a container to catch it in, then came back, and when it opened its wings I was surprised. Just a Buckeye. I didn't realize their wings have a more rusty orange color in the fall so it fooled me. Here it is with its wings open. Its easy to recognize this way.
