As of this morning, I have 4 successful chrysalises, and 1 that's questionable. While the caterpillar was building its chrysalis, it fell off the branch and continued to build while it was laying on the soil.

Do I need to prop him to a branch?

BTW, there were small GST cats on the orange tree, but I've looked over the past several weeks and there have been no signs of them, which makes me feel a bit better about bringing some of them in. Aside from the 2 escapees, I've been pretty successful with this batch. I now have escapee proof containers for the larger cats (unlike the hamper!!)

All, well, 4/5, are adhered to branches, which should give them plenty of room to stretch out their wings when they hatch.
