| Last Saturday I was in the process of releasing five Monarchs when my daughter and her four friends visiting, all early teen girls, were in the house. One asked if she sould help and the whole thing snowballed so I decided they would each get one.
In the gardens I asked the sex of the Monarchs and my daughter told her friends how they could tell. Next things you know I'm hearing 4 screams of "It's a girl!!". Everyone looked at the last one. They all wanted a boy, but the next announcement was that we had another 'girl'.
I've never seen such a disappointed bunch of teenagers in my life. LOL!! |
