monarch 911 help

My last 2 monarchs emerged last night and one looks deformed. When her wings are closed, they seem to be on the other side of the body where the other wings are. She can open and close them. Con I let her go? Will she be alright if she is able to fly?

RE: monarch 911 help

Denali,
How did your Monarch do? I haven't been around as much because butterfly season is over for us. We're entering skiing and snowmen season in another several weeks. It is not uncommon for an occasional butterfly to emerge with problems, just as not every child is born healthy. Just part of nature. I hope your imperfect butterflies are few and far between. So far, it sounds as if you've had good outcomes, for the most part.
