I found 8 BST cats that in Sept that I assumed would overwinter. Well, I guess this warm snap has changed their minds, because 4 of them has eclosed in the last 3 days!

I am concerned as well, because the weather is going to get cold next week and there aren't that many blooming flowers left. I also doubt they will find mates (unless they find each other!)

Ah well, what can you do but wish them luck. Hopefully they will find enough to eat out there!

I have 2 darkening right now myself! One of them has been dark for days, and I think it might be "stuck".

This seems quite late in the season. Oh well, I figure they can always fly towards the coast or the south and find warmer climes, and maybe a mate.
